Google’s New Favicon

As you might already have noticed, Google has changed their favorites icon (favicon) again. Some people still haven’t got used to the previous one, created in June 2008. The new one is a white “g”, very similar to the previous one, but on a wavy red-green-yellow blue background.

The Google Mobile App has a few hidden menus that allow you to access a couple of extra features, not very useful but still quite entertaining.
It was probably discovered by an iPhone user that had nothing better to do than go to the “About” pages of various applications and continuously swipe the screen, waiting for something to happen…

After a very short flight in October that ended with a crash landing, Google’s SMS Text Messaging for chat is taking off again. For only a domestic flight in US, but still.
Now you can send a text message from Gchat. To enable it, go to Apps and look for “Text Messaging (SMS) in Chat” near [...]
Google’s Android Project Proceeds

For some time already, it has been looking like Google tries to spread itself to every major market of the tech industry. The most evident parts of the project are the Google Chrome browser, which has already received much positive feedback, and, maybe even more importantly, the Android mobile software platform.

Net Applications, a web visitor tracking service, has spotted some strange activity from the computers of Google employees… Seems like Google is developing an OS of some sort!
