Walmart Starts Selling iPhones, $99 Version Nowhere To Be Seen

On Sunday, Walmart started selling iPhone 3G’s at nearly 2,500 stores, but only the 8GB model at $197 and the 16GB model $297. There is not a hint of the much-rumoured $99 4GB model, or the iPhone nano.
Apple sells its handsets for $199 and $299 so you can save a “huge sum” of $2 when you buy an iPhone from Walmart instead.
Walmart’s iPhone is obviously targeted at consumers who don’t shop at stores like Apple, BestBuy and AT&T’s.
