First REAL iPhone 3G Unlock, To Be Released On New Year’s Eve!

We’ve been waiting ages for it. And finally, it has come. The first real unlock software for the iPhone 3G, humorously codenamed “yellowsn0w” will be released into the wild on New Year’s Eve 2008.
This unlock will work on any jailbroken 3G iPhone, on both Windows and Mac. It will only work on 3G’s that have a baseband of 2.11.07 or earlier, so don’t update your iPhone if you are interested in unlocking it.
Dev-team, the creators of this hack, have filmed and uploaded the unlocking, so we know this one is for real.
